Dear Secretary Salamun Alyikum

Following the decision by the trustees in the meeting of 6th February 2013 to approve the new proposed constitution and byelaws and recommend to the membership to adopt them at the AGM. Please find a copy of the proposed constitution and the byelaws for publication and adoption in the AGM 0f 10th March 2013

Also, Notice is hereby given that as per Trustee decision of 29th Jan 2013. I intend to move this matter on behalf of the Trustees the following two resolutions at the AGM.

Resolution 1: Whereas the existing constitution has served us well and it was updated in 2010. It has been found to have significant gaps and therefore risks to the Charity. So I move on behalf of the Trustees of Idaara Maarif e Islam and call upon the membership that this Charity Adopt the new constitution attached (“to be adopted 10/03/2013”) and approved in the Trustees meeting of 6thFebruary 2013 and Repeal the Existing Constitution Adopted in the AGM of 2010 to come into effect immediately upon approval.

Resolution 2: Whereas the Existing Constitution refers to some matters to rules and regulations those regulations have never been written. The Trustees have written those rules and described the duties of the officers and Approved them in the Trustee meeting of 6th February 2013.Therefore I move on behalf of the Trustees of Idaara Maarif e Islam that the Charity Adopt the new rules as the new Bye-Laws ((2013) attached) of the Charity to come into effect immediately upon approval.
